Learn about the eduroam service at Sandbox Research Institute
eduroam (education roaming) is an international Wi-Fi roaming service for universities, research institutions, and public organizations. With a single institutional account, you can connect to Wi-Fi at any participating institution worldwide — no additional registration or fees required.
eduroam is active in more than 100 countries and thousands of institutions. In Korea, it is operated by KREONET(KISTI) through eduroamKR.
Sandbox Research Institute is a member of eduroamKR, providing Wi-Fi roaming service to its members both on-campus and at eduroam-enabled institutions worldwide.
eduroam uses WPA2-Enterprise (EAP) technology to encrypt user credentials. Authentication is handled by your home institution's RADIUS server — your password is never sent to any other institution.
